As part of the Quality and Operations Engineering team, you will be expected to research the latest cloud development and deployment tools and facilitate the teams on their use.
 

How you will spend your time as our next Software and Tooling/ Jira Engineer 
We are hiring talented and technical engineers to help support our software development teams.  This candidate will work with a diverse set of software tools and will provide ongoing support to our many software development and test engineering teams.  
 

You will be successful if you are

• Solid in administrating Jira and implementing effective workflows.
• Passionate about learning and researching leading edge tools and solutions
• Experienced in e.g. Groovy, Python, Powershell, Packer, terraform, vagrant, Ruby, Perl, JavaScript or PowerShell
• A strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administrator in a Cloud or Virtualized environment
• Knowledgeable in Linux based operating system and virtualization tools (e.g. VMWare, vSphere, vRealize, VEEAM).
• A strong verbal and written communicator.

You will thrive if you have

• Experience with cloud monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, CloudWatch, etc.
• Experience in administrating software development tools like Jenkins,Github, Coverity, Black Duck, Incredibuild
• Experience with AWS Services or other cloud-based architectures
• exposure to software containerization platforms including Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, etc
