Academic Work is on behalf of our client looking for 4 Java developers.

This is a consultant assignment. Academic Work will be your employer and you will work as a consultant at our client from April. The assignment will be full time and extend to 31 of July.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
You will work in a global and fast paced environment. As a Java developer you will getting started with two core areas. There are two areas, in one of the areas a base solution already exits and the task is to continue the development and take it to the next level. The second area is more starting from a blank paper and will likely involve selection of 3de party tool and integration the tool.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
We prefer that you have a degree in computer science or similar level of education. It is an advantage if you have great interest in, or up to a year experience of software development and design from distributed high performance systems. Having a good understanding of financial markets would be an advantage but it’s not a requirement. However we expect that you have a great interest in financial markets and that you are eager to learn about functional and non-functional requirements on financial market systems.

Requested specific competencies in these areas below:

* Good skills in Java
* Basic database knowledge
* We see that you speak and write fluently in English

To suit this position you will have strong communication skills and a customer centric mindset. You have the ability to work effectively in a team and individually. You must be quality focused and forward thinking. We expect that you enjoy solving complex problems, shows great analytical skills and is a result-oriented person. You will need to be “hands on” in your approach, be pro-active, demonstrate initiative and enjoy a fast paced working environment. Furthermore, you will be committed and highly motivated.
