As their new Senior System Administrator, you will be based at their office in central Stockholm, where 120 employees are currently working. SG Digital is well-known for their high technical level and innovation regarding development, where they constantly develop new applications and functionality for their software.

The last couple of years SG Digital has had a vast expansion and 2018 is no exception! We are now recruiting for a Senior System administrator that would like to join the team. You will be part of a jointly-established and experienced company with high technical skills.

Your Role
As a Senior System Administrator you will be offered an important role at SG Digital, where your system knowledge in both software and hardware, as well as your understanding of application operations will be very useful.

The responsibilities required for the system administrator's position are; mid-level program management including NYX Gaming Group websites, application setup and configuration and monitoring and operation of applications. You will perform application installation according to NYX Gaming processes, as well as you will provide insights into development and product management organizations. You are responsible for documentation from application operating perspectives, knowledge-based articles, user manuals, installation instructions, basic case analyzes and instructions on how to deal with incidents and problems. In addition, you will also be responsible for verifications of the systems, pre-release preparations, incident management and changes in requests and issues.

In your role you will be responsible for the application management on an intermediate level on SG Digitals Gaming Group sites. You will be responsible for contributing with operational insights towards development and product management organizations. Verifying releases on an operational level, participate in preparations of releases before live deployment. Handle incoming incidents, change requests and problems and handle documentation from an application operations perspective. Knowledgeable in base articles, operation manuals, deployment instructions, root cause analyses, incident and problem notes. You will also be performing installations of applications according to your company's release process and be responsible for documentation from an application operations point of view.

Who You Are
We are looking for a graduate / university degree within a relevant field, such as computer science or equivalent and between five and ten years of experience as a system administrator

The role requires experience in monitoring and application management, as well as basic skills in database operations. Understanding in any of the following scripting languages; ??Bash, Python, Perl, Javascript or PowerShell, as well as understanding ITIL. You should have previous experience with Linux and / or Windows and application management as well as IT support.

As a person, you are service-oriented, accurate and structured. You are described as professional and like to help both clients as well as colleagues, which makes you fit into SG Digital's corporate culture. You have a high technical understanding and prefer to work in a dynamic organization with advanced technology.

You should have the ability to keep targets in scope, finishing targets and tasks as aligned and requested. Be able to keep focused on targets according to SG Digitals priorities. As a system administrator you should be accurate, accountable, and with a willingness to learn, whilst having the ability to share knowledge and experience. Having social competence both in communication and in team building is crucial as SG Digital is a team oriented company.

You are fluent in English both verbally and in writing.
