Data Visualisation Developer

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The job of a Data Visualization Developer at Daniel Wellington comes with a lot of responsibility – and lots of fun. You’ll be a part of our astounding Business Intelligence team at our Stockholm office. We are looking for a person who is specialized in creating, building and programming data visualizations to complement our BI-team. This person would bring expertise in developing and coding data visualizations in order to deliver insightful dashboards and reports all across DW globally.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Consult with data analysts and engineers on the BI-team to create and build custom, re-usable data visualizations.

· Design functional and visually appealing dashboards emphasizing simplicity and rapid comprehension by a variety of audiences.

· You will be responsible for choosing the right tool for the right task and will have the possibility to work with different data visualization tools and techniques to spread insights through different channels such as dashboards, email and our corporate portal.

· Collect feedback to make continuous improvements to new and existing data visualizations.

And your skills and experience include:

· Handle multiple tasks in a continuously evolving environment

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (DW is spread out over eight countries (and counting…))

· Analytical mindset, fundamental knowledge and ability to understand technology, information systems, data, and business processes

· Ability to analyse and dissect user requirements and build front-end BI applications according to specifications

· Experience from using multiple data visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Metabase, Dashing and/or similar

· Ability to create email and intranet dashboards using e.g. HTML, CSS, D3, JavaScript

· Understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles and practices

· Solid SQL and database design skills
