Do you want to help take one of the world's most popular aviation websites to the next level? Flightradar24.com has over half a million visitors daily, and you'll work with a group of tech savvy aviation enthusiasts in our fresh offices in downtown Stockholm Sweden.

We are looking for a talented Web Developer that can create an even better website experience for our visitors.

You are a skilled developer that enjoy engaging with a team but can also focus on solo projects. You have a strong inner drive and you continuously meet and exceed high-quality standards and deadlines. Programming is more than a job for you and you enjoy pet technology hobbies at home too.

Required skills

- At least 3 years knowledge of current web technologies including Javascript, HTML and CSS
- Strong PHP programming experience including dynamic sites and API development
- Extensive experience interacting with APIs including AJAX, JSON and real-time Google maps
- Natural focus on high standards and thorough testing, delivering quality results to tight deadlines
- Familiar with modern version control systems, including git
- Proven ability to actively cooperate as a key member of a team including other web developers
- Strong written and spoken English

Beneficial skills

- Passion for aviation in general and Flightradar24 in particular
- Additional languages including Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese or Mandarin
- Product design, user experience and user interface skills for both web and mobile apps
- Experience of quickly learning and improving existing code bases
- Relevant degree in computer science or similar including broad IT skills
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop
- Dedication to unit testing, code review and other quality-oriented practices
- Understanding of internationalization and localization concerns and associated headaches
