IT Service Engineer to Husqvarna Group GIS, Manufacturing IT

Department Description:
Manufacturing IT Husqvarna Brand Division is a new department supporting strategic initiatives. The departments responsibility is to manage all IT activities related to Manufacturing globally within Husqvarna Brand Division.

Position/Job Description:
In this position you will be part of a highly skilled and dedicated team supporting the production in Huskvarna in order to maintain a high level of utilization in the production lines.
Husqvarna Manufacturing is in the middle of the great effort building The Smart Plant, meaning a transformation from traditional production into highly atomized factories. This will put higher demands on IT support and IT Service Engineers since machines, robots and other equipment will be connected to IT solutions. IT Service Engineers will be highly important in the ongoing projects and initiatives to automate the factories.

Key responsibilities
. Perform IT Support on-site in the factory.
. Initiate, drive and perform root cause analysis of issues in manufacturing.
. Understand complex resolutions including both infrastructure and application.
. Deep understanding of solutions, i.e. business processes and IT system landscape.
. Actively take part in development and implementation activities.
. Participate in both Level 1 and Level 2 support activities. Job rotation will be applied.
. On-call support outside office hours.
. Configure factory equipment such a scanners, printers, PC's etc.
. Continuously identify areas for improvements within the IT delivery.
. Develop and keep instructions for fixes up to date. Knowledge database.
. Communicate to business and internally about status and KPI's.
. Actively contribute to the development of Manufacturing IT support within Husqvarna Brand Division.

We are looking for

. +3 minimum years' experience from IT support, preferably in a production environment.
. Bachelor's degree in Computer science or IT related field
. Experience from and interest in application development, .Net.
. Personal interest in Interest in IOT and IIOT
. Structured personality.
. Experience and competence in client management, Active Directory, Office365, Windows Server, SQL Databases etc.
. Experience in managing network and network components, cable and wireless.
. Data cabling / Computer facilities maintenance
. Ability to stand stress and enjoy working in an unpredicted environment.
. Self-motivated and self-managed personality.
. Fluent in Swedish required.
. Ability to communicate in English both spoken and written.

Qualifications (Education and Experience):
. Bachelor's degree in Computer science or IT related field.
. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

. Strong initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, be self-directed in completing tasks, and persistent with resolving issues.
. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, in addition to effective teamwork, interpersonal, and personal leadership skills.

. Innovative and open-minded, along with a willingness to continually learn and search for ideas and opportunities to implement efficiencies.
. Advanced Troubleshooting skills in a multi-user high pressure environment.
. Proven skills in PC repair, troubleshooting and deployment
. Ability to explain complex IT concept in simple terms

Work Environment:

For this position the working time is office hours with additional on-call service, 24*7, that will be shared within the team. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Time is spent in a mix between general office and shop floor environment. Potential physical demands include, but are not limited to: minimal sitting, frequent walking in factory environment with a lot of stairways. Potential sensory demands include, but are not limited to: hearing and seeing.

Regular time is spent in a manufacturing plant environment. Potential exposure may include, but is not limited to: solvents, dusts, noise, heat, outside weather conditions, cramped spaces, and building construction areas.
