You will be part of the NIRA engineering team where fusion of data from multiple sources including vehicle, climate and image data is made to enable vehicle perception for autonomous driving. This is a completely new product segment taking shape and you will be a central player in our team focusing on:

Design and implement data fusion algorithms using cutting edge frameworks like Spark & Flink to create map layers guiding autonomous cars in varying road conditions.
Apply machine-learning techniques in the area of data fusion using for example regression or classification models like Naive Bayes.
Find new ways to combine data from multiple road related sources into new products.
Evaluate new ideas and build proof of concepts that enables the future of safe and efficient transportations.

So, who are you? We think you bring the following technical qualities:

PhD or MSc degree in relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience of working with data fusion, signal processing and/or machine learning.
Experience in systems development using e.g. MatLab, Scala,Java or Python.
Experience in modern programming languages
Basic understanding of geodata is a plus.
