System Architect to Atlas Copco

You will be part of a team of senior developers setting the structure and roadmap for our technical platforms for many different products.
Your main responsibility will be to govern and drive the architecture for the software protocols that is used within Atlas Copco Industrial Technique. Tasks involve handling complicated technical issues as well as creating in depth technical analyses. To master this role you need to be able to drive change in the organisation by supporting people and project with expert advice, setting up workshops and doing presentations.
At Atlas Copco we use many different programming languages including C, C++, C# and Python. To solve the problems you will need to master at least one of them.
Other than this, you will document the software and design. Naturally, you will take part in project meetings and become an important member of the System Architecture group. Working according to agile methodologies, you will solve tasks independently but yet in teams, as you take on your area of responsibility in different projects. VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* 5+ years of software development experience
* Knowledge on how to develop software protocols
* A mentoring role within software development
* Knowledge of Atlas Copcos internal protocols is qualifying
* Prior contribution to the open source community is qualifying

* At least a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably with specialization in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
* Intimate familiarity with the English language, written and spoken alike, is also a given prerequisite.
