HW Test Engineer TRCS-SEST01625776

As a HW Test Engineer you will be an integral part of Bombardier’s revolutionary Engineering and Research Development team.

You will be involved in the development and maintenance of ground breaking train onboard safety systems which include work in all BT HW sub-systems for onboard and wayside products.

You will work closely with other world leading engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems or modifications.

You will ensures testing procedures are in compliance with required industry specific standards and document and analyzes test cases.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute test cases to verify test requirements and design.

Develop and design Test Systems and implement them.

Support and maintain existing products.

Prepare technical documentation such as specifications and reports.

Conduct and present in technical meetings.

Perform manual and automated tests sometimes at external accredited test labs.

Engineering related degree.

Relevant experience as a HW Test Engineer.

Creative problem solver and team player.

Fluent in English and preferable Swedish.

Technical Skills

Experience of RF/ Radio tests.

Experience of EMC and Climate tests.

Experience developing test platforms.

Proficient at writing technical documents, like specifications and reports.

Experience of working with change management and requirements tracing tools.

Additionally, knowledge of the below would be an advantage;

Programming languages C, C++, LabView and Matlab
