Software Integration Engineer

We at Semcon are now looking for our future colleague to join our Software Integration team, placed at our modern headquarters in Lindholmen. Here you will be given the opportunity to work with innovative companies ranging from small startups to the global giants. We will be proud to call you an expert within the department Systems & Controls, developing systems for modern vehicles and adjusting them to the human behavior. 
 
This is what you will be doing  
Your role is to develop the toolchain in cooperation with our customers! On an ordinary workday you will work with the toolchain architecture and setup, as well as model structure and scripting. You will be gathering information and exchange. You will also be working with testing, test case implementation and how to visualize the test results.  
 
Who we think that you are  
You probably have an MSc in Software, Computer or Communication Engineering or you have similar experiences. Your experience is important due to the complexity of the area, which is why we believe that you have worked with SW development or test automation for at least 3 years. But please, come and blow our minds if you have fulfilled the criteria in less time than so! And to sum this up, I want to tell you about this person called Darwin. He got kind of famous talking about survival of the fittest. Here at Semcon, we believe in the survival of the innovative.  
 
What you know Experience from software development, continuous SW integration and delivery as well as test automation and database use. Maybe you also have experience from web development, version handling and server builds?  C/C++, Python and Java excites you. In addition we think that you know Jira, Subversion and Jenkins. If you don’t know them all, you are eager to learn.  Have you worked with model-based systems such as Matlab, Simulink or TargetLink?   You skills in English are important, but you don’t need to speak Swedish.    You have driver’s license equal to the Swedish level B.
