Visual UI designer

The role

We’re looking for an experienced UI designer who wants to make social impact through fantastic digital product design.  

You will mainly work with mobile applications, but occasionally you will widen the scope and take on brand, identity, style guides and graphic design as well. You will work closely with UX design, the tech team, and product owner, and you report to Head of Product.   

Key Activities

• Design amazing UI in collaboration with the rest of our product team
• Deliver concepts, prototypes, user flows, mockups
• Visualise ideas with creative design suggestions
• Work with branding and identity, websites, graphic guidelines
• Present and defend your design to other stakeholders. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.)
• Continually keep yourself and the design team updated with the latest trends in the industry
• Degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Visual Communication or equivalent is a plus

 Experiences and skills

• You have 3+ years of proven experience in designing amazing mobile user experiences
• Strong portfolio to be presented
• Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
• Good understanding of front-end development
• Experience in designing vector illustrations and icons
• Confident and updated with UI tools (Sketch, InVision, Zeplin, Principle, Flinto, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
• Swedish or English
