Responsibilities:

We’re looking for a Junior System Engineer to work with all our cloud initiatives and office network and systems.

• Configure and monitor cloud based systems and their networking, autoscaling and more. Drive operational excellence via statistics and measurement
• Make sure the office network and system environment never misses a beat. Support Rebtel with office IT automation.
• Work with third line support cases. Empowering second line with transparency and tools.
• Perform daily routine checking on servers and services.**

You will of course have support of our experienced teams and system experts.

A successful candidate is a person who is always happy to dig in and is just as happy to automate tasks to have them disappear.

Skills and experience:

+2 years experience with building, operating and maintaining Linux machines leveraging open source products.
IT experience and Automation (Python, Shell) **
A strong foundation in IP networking, Internet and all supporting protocols and operation of such networks. (DNS, ARP, Ethernet, BGP, RSTP, TCP, HTTP, SSL/TLS aso)
Love to make an impact in collaborative and enthusiastic teams.
Strong interpersonal skills

Bonus skills and experience:

SIP and RTP, Kamailio and Asterisk is a great plus.
Cloud infra skills with GCP, AWS or Azure.
Formal theoretical background (BSc., MSc., …)
