Automotive UX Lead

We at Semcon are now looking for our future colleague to join our User Experience team, placed at our modern headquarters in Lindholmen. Here you will be given the opportunity to work with innovation for companies ranging from small startups to the global giants. This is what you will be doing   
Your role is to evolve and expand our Automotive User Experience offer. We have already today one of the best teams in the world in the area and support clients on a global level with new and innovative ideas. We work in the digital eco-system of the vehicle where connectivity and autonomous is two big trends for the future. 
 
We have a tradition and history of work with the future generations of HMI and interaction paradigms in the vehicles in close cooperation with our customers. You will work as the Project Manager for this kind of projects, as well as the creative lead. The projects could be customer projects or governmental funded research projects that we do in close cooperation together with our automotive clients.  
 
Your focus areas 
You will work with forming the strategy for Semcon within Automotive User Experience. Your focus will be on leading research and customer projects within the automotive segment both from a budget and a design perspective, making sure that the deliverables from our time has a high quality. You will also discuss interesting future projects with our clients.  
 
Who we think that you are   
You probably have an MSc in Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, Technical Design or similar. Your experience is important due to the complexity of the area, which is why we believe that you have worked with User Experience within Automotive for at least 5 years. But please, come and blow our minds if you have fulfilled the criteria in less time than so! And to sum this up, I want to tell you about this person called Darwin. He got somewhat famous talking about survival of the fittest. Here at Semcon, we believe in the survival of the innovative.   
 
What you know  You have worked with User Experience within automotive.  You consider yourself to be creative and innovative.  With an eye for graphical design you make way creating a wow-feeling wherever you go.   Being a leader, and a good one as well, is something you find energy in! You have therefore experience of a leading role in projects, like ICL, UX Lead, UX strategist, project manager or similar.   We believe that you are interested in new upcoming trends and know enough about them to utilize all the possibilities that technical paradigms can give for instance within connectivity, autonomous vehicles, Artificial Intelligence, AR/VR and the new business models that they support.   You have a deep knowledge about user centered design processes and methodology for user research and testing.   Your skills in English are important, but you do not need to speak Swedish.     You have driver’s license equal to the Swedish level B.
