IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

The work environment at Scania’s IT department is international and our employees are representing many different nationalities and countries. To this exciting and dynamic environment we are now looking for new IT-professionals.

The recruiting group is one of three groups working with Scania Maintenance. At Scania Maintenance we work with a system solution that creates and optimizes individual maintenance plans based on real-time data from the truck to tailor the plans according to each customer’s specific needs. We are now looking for persons with a significant interest in software development.

Your role
At Scania we strongly believe in teams and agile methodologies, thus you will be working in a team of multiskilled people. We can offer a stimulating environment where we together always strive to build the best solutions. Your main tasks will be development/coding of our own developed application. In this role you need to have a good understanding of the IT system development lifecycle and be used to work in an agile way.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in IT or equivalent experience. It is also preferably if you have the following experiences/competences:

Good knowledge of .NET and Microsoft products (e.g. C#, SQL server)
Experience and knowledge about agile working methods
Experience of working in software development team
Experience in Cloud infrastructure in AWS

We also think that you are a team player who appreciates collaborating with other people. We think that you have good analytics skills and that like to solve problems. We expect that you are eager to learn new technologies and appreciate working in an adaptive environment.
