DevOps Engineering Internship

The position

Vultus is developing a world class solution enable waste free farming. We are utilizing modern serverless architecture on cloud computing environment. The scope of the internship is to aid the development team in making sure the product demos go smoothly, the backend is running, the bugs are caught before it reaches production. The work will allow you to learn and expand skills within the mentioned areas. As an early member of the team, you will gain large amounts of freedom, thus, it is important that you have a high quality of work and are comfortable with responsibilities.

Your responsibilities

- Participating in backend infrastructure development.
- Participating in/and documenting the deployment process.
- Monitoring cloud resources consumption and helping with optimization.
- Give brief, weekly summaries regarding DevOps and new IT tools/concepts.
- Work proactively with other team members.

Desired skills

- Past DevOps experience is desired.
- Past experiences in infrastructure tool development and maintenance.
- Solid understanding of web application architecture is helpful.
- Fluency in at least one modern high-level programming language e.g. Python.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and programming tools.
- Generally highly able at complex problem solving
- Ability to solve repetitive business and infrastructure tasks with code.
- Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details.
- Good understanding of software and infrastructure development life cycle and quality control practices.
