What we do
We are always aiming at creating the top of the line web applications, and with a high demand environment with very high usage at peak usage. Also with a rapid changing environment we are always challenged to improve our software offering but also how we code and how we produce that code. This forces us to use latest technologies and pushing for new improvements all the time. We are currently using things like websockets and react js and are making the most optimized application with that.
Main responsibilities
We are looking for people with strong technical and architectural skills that will help us grow and continue the fight of providing the best products to the industry. As a senior member of this team, you will provide architectural leadership and strategy to support PBS continuous growth. You will also be expected to act as a mentor and support junior developers/others in the team. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Develop Sportsbook web applications that reach millions of people every month in close cooperation with your team colleagues Work together with other teams to enable development synergies Help build and form the future of the company with new ideas Create and maintain technical documentations Develop yourself by learning and evaluating new technologies and keeping abreast of changes in technology
Required Skills
- Several years of experience within software development
- Knowledge in development of web applications
- Extensive knowledge in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, Java
- Detailed understanding of the UI and UX of a web application.
- Experience with source control (Git)
- Fluency in English, in speech as well as writing
- Ability to write clean, well-designed, maintainable code
- Being a great teammate
Desirable Skills
- Contributions to Open source projects Experience in Scrum, TDD, CI, QA, Test Automation Java, Spring, J2EE, Tomcat Linux and NoSQL databases Experience from working in the betting or gaming industry and/or the mobile domain
