Volvo Group Connected Solutions is a global organization within Volvo Group providing state of the art connected services with cutting edge technologies. Our connected services are provided with Volvo Group products across the globe and around the clock.
Our team is now looking for experienced and passionate back-end application developers who want to be part of the continued development and change journey for the connected services provided with Volvo Construction Equipment products. You will be part of a dedicated team, innovating and developing new features and contributing to continuous improvements in our software. You will be working with both on premise and cloud environment.

Role description
You will be developing connected solutions for our Volvo Group customers. You will have an active part in new feature projects, maintenance and enhancement activities. You will work with model-based design techniques and agile methodologies to develop cloud-based software managing high volume real-time data.
Our systems are built using Java EE, Spring and JavaScript. System integration is done via JMS.

Required knowledge/experience
Application development experience in Java 8
JMS backend
Linux
Spring Boot
DevOps experience and/or mindset
Component test work approach
Context switching ability
Experience in Wire Mock, AWS environments, MongoDb, REST and AMQ is a benefit
Working proficiency in verbal and written English
