Java Engineer

Your responsibilities will include:

Making our Casino and Live Casino products the best ones out there.

Developing the integrations with our game providers, to allow for additional features and a more immersive experience where games allow it.

Improving findability of our best-in-class game offering, through metadata, filtering, navigation solutions and automated recommendations.

Turning our newly released Live Casino vertical into the same huge success as our current Casino offering.

Focusing on being innovative and continue making it a big success. An important focus also lies in integrating new Game Providers.

Ensure high performance of our game transaction and player wallet management system as we manage millions of online transactions each day.

Ensuring an attractive offering to our players by working on bonus tools such as free spins and other reward systems.

Work closely with our Operations team in Malta and make us all feel as one team and to build back office support tools to simplify their work.

Working with tracking and segmentation to support data-driven decisions.

Working closely with designers and stakeholders, using domain knowledge and data to iterate our way to the best solutions and decisions.

We’re looking for a real software craftsman that has significant experience in Java and backend system development and thrives in an atmosphere where learning new technologies is key and satisfying.

We expect that you have experience with common Java frameworks such as Spring and JPA and is no stranger to working with relational databases such as MySQL. We would love you if you have experience in building highly scalable and fault-tolerant distributed systems and familiar with architecture principles such as microservices, CQRS, EIP and EDA patterns.

Some of the technologies we use on our platform include Java 8, Kotlin, Spring, Akka, Hazelcast, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Consul, Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.

We enjoy to build full-stack experience in our team and would like it if you have interest or experience in web front-end related technologies such as Javascript, CSS, React.js, Node.js, CouchDB, Couchbase or GraphQL.
