Java Developer to Axiomatics

Stockholm Headhunting has been commissioned to find a Java Developer to the security company Axiomatics.

Axiomatics offer a security solution for companies and governments that need to share sensitive data securely. With the help of Axiomatics products, organizations are able to share data and other sensitive information in a secure way that differs from the classic role based access solutions offered by other companies. The organization serves some of the world’s leading companies within banking, insurance, media, manufacturing as well as government departments.  

At present Axiomatics consist of 40 employees located at their offices in Stockholm and Chicago. The engineering department is made up off 14 people divided in two teams of 7, which handle one product each. The office is located in downtown Stockholm, an easy walking distance from the central station.

Axiomatics are expanding and thus looking for new talented co-workers to join their team. As a key member of the development team you will have a leading role in developing the latest data protection and authorization products that tackle some of the major security concerns of the Fortune 500s. You will mainly work with the development of the APS product and together with the team you are responsible for the whole product, focusing on new development. Your primary task will be Java development and with the Vaadin framework. Because the team work with the entire development cycle of the product some part of your job will also include front-end development. The team work in an agile environment according to SCRUM principles and they regularly work with code reviews, so it is vital that you value this way to work.

The person Axiomatics is looking for has a University degree in Computer Science and has at least 4 years of experience of Java development. It is preferable that you also have experience using Vaadin framework and some experience of, or interest in, UI and JavaScript since the team work on the whole stack. At Axiomatics they work exclusively in English, therefore it is vital that you are fluent in English as well. As a person you are a team player that feels comfortable working with the full stack. You are willing to learn and share your own knowledge with your teammates. Above all you need to be a prestige-less kind of person with a sense of humour that is always willing to lend a hand.
