This journey is progressing at the same time as our business is increasing the pace of production, expanding the manufacturing footprint to more production sites as well as increasing the pace of requesting new and improved functionality.

We are now looking for an Application Manager to Consumer & Enterprise Digital, CED in Olofström!

What do we offer

We have a truly dedicated team located near the factory in Olofström who loves the pulse of working with the factory “heart”. The IT portfolio is a key ingredient to keep the factory running.

We are a mix of employees, consultants and partners working together with the mission of maintaining and developing robust and competitive solutions. Our area of responsibility covers the complete IT support for factory applications in Volvo Cars Olofström as well as some global M&L responsibility for a subset of these. This team is highly involved in the requirement work, design, and delivery of new application features and lifecycle activities, but we always start from making sure our current production is secured and optimized.

What you´ll do

In order for you to fully enjoy this job we think that you like to both lead and participate throughout the application life cycle. You will be responsible for Application Management with business representatives and secure a constantly updated life cycle plan. Your job also includes communication and change management and that you secure daily operations with the help of our ITIL processes and tools (incident & problem management, documentation update, etc.). 

Your responsibility also means:

* Requirements collection and documentation for both continuous improvement and project
* Design of solution and test cases
* Secure/perform acceptance test with customers
* Secure a safe deploy in production

You and your skills

We see that you have a university degree in IT/Engineering or experience in the relevant field, and experience working with Agile, Lean and/or continuous delivery methods and associated tools such as VSTS, Git & Gerrit. You have experience of leading others to fulfill your goals/team-leading skills and experience in leading projects or workshops and the development of business software applications. We see that you are fluent in both Swedish and English, both written as spoken and that you are ITIL Foundation v.3 certified or have been working in such an environment.

Meritorious

* Experience from manufacturing industry
* Good database knowledge, preferable Oracle or MS SQL
* Knowledge of system & software architecture
* Experience from Analytics/Business Intelligence and tools
* Experience from working in an outsourced delivery
* Understanding of Microsoft .NET and Cloud technologies
* Experience in supplier and contract management

You need to be self-propelled and driven but at the same time team oriented with a holistic approach and you thrive to work with tasks where there is a possibility to use your problem solving skills. You enjoy working in a global organization and like to take on special assignments outside your daily responsibilities.
