Monocl Software is a Swedish startup working with Life Science Intelligence. We develop analytics for the Life Science industry to enable new insights and to improve strategic decisions. In November 2014, we were selected as one of the 15 most exciting startups in the industry worldwide. Our philosophy is to develop groundbreaking, highly refined analytics tailored for the end user. Our first product, MONOCL EGO, is an expert analytics tool designed to help users to find, assess and successfully engage with relevant Life Science experts. MONOCL EGO will be launched during 2015. We are now looking for a highly talented system developer to reinforce our team in Göteborg and join us in a highly exciting and intense phase of development. You will right away play an important role in our current development team, which is responsible for the design and development of our analytics platform. The team is also responsible for continuously expanding and improving the platform’s content base and functionality. Since we are addressing challenging business needs and work with large data sets, we have a continuous demand for new and innovative technologies. The platform, which is hosted at Amazon Web Services, has a core built in Java with underlying data being managed in Elasticsearch and Neo4j. • At least three years of work experience as a Java developer, or similar competence, with a strong demonstrated track record
• Experience from integration of NoSQL-based technologies and scalable web applications
• Business oriented mindset with past experience of working towards clear goals and milestones
• Fluent in English
