Enea is looking for a skilled embedded Linux architect. You will be working in highly demanding customer and research projects, shaping the future of the wireless broadband and telecom infrastructure. The position requires a responsible, organized, team oriented individual with the ability to work in an international and rapidly changing environment.
You will be a part of our Linux System Management Team, whose main responsibilities include:
- Overall Linux related system architecture and technical strategies around it
- Being technical spokesperson for the Linux product portfolio
- Sales support
- Coordination of our open source engagements
- Early technical pre-studies
- Prototyping
- Training
- Coordination of heterogeneous solutions
You tasks will include most of the items listed above, but the exact contents will depend on your specific profile.
We expect candidates to:
- Have solid experience of embedded Linux and the open source community around it. You have probably contributed to one or more open source projects, maybe even the Linux kernel
- Be familiar with most of the open source software and tools that are part of a typical Yocto based Linux distribution
master all phases of developing complex software solutions
have a good overall understanding of Linux architecture and would not mind doing complex studies of related architectures and features.
- You think prototyping is fabulous!
On top of this, you should be able to motivate your colleagues and make things happen
