Senior Java, JavaEE developers (221520)

Position Summary

Ericsson’s Machine to Machine (M2M) service is called Ericsson Device Connectivity Platform (EDCP) and we are looking to recruit into the Research and Development (R&D) organization of that service. R&D are responsible for the development and maintenance of M2M features found in EDCP like SIM ordering, M2M provisioning, subscription management as well as rating/billing for Operators or their Enterprises. EDCP supports 2, 2.5 and 3G messaging and packet switched services today and shortly we will introduce 4G. Services also include infrastructure that are normally found in the Radio Networks and these enable us to also support messaging and packet services towards an operators PLMN. At R&D we deliver the features that build up the actual EDCP services exposed on our platform whilst the day to day running of that platform (Production) is managed by our colleagues in the EDCP Operational Organization (Ericsson Cloud Operations). Experience from Operations, NOC or DevOps is a plus.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

An important area for our solution is the automation of BSS/OSS responsibilities. We want to grow our automation team with experienced developers. We would like you to have 5+ years of experience from all aspects of Software Design. Experience from BSS solutions is therefore necessary. What we are looking for is individuals who can work full-stack with development of our JavaEE-based solution. We work end-to-end, from understanding customer requirements, to maintaining our software in production. Our solution is run as-a-Service (SaaS).

You have very good analytical and problem solving skills, communication skills and are fluent in English.

We work in a very transaction intensive business, handling financial information. Experience from working with Oracle databases in the Telecom or Banking industry is very positive.

Linux/Red Hat scripting and administration

Experience from working with fulfillment or assurance processes is a plus
