Big data architect / developer

Software Skills is now looking for a Big data architect / developer on behalf of an exciting startup in Gothenburg, Sweden. The founder is a serial entrepreneur who just finished his CEO tenure for a Kinnevik company and is now starting a new venture in the field of mobile data payments.

Must haves

- Implementation of algorithms for Big Data processing, experience with MapReduce model
- Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks and tools like Hadoop, Spark, Scala etc
- Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases, familiarity with NewSQL is a plus
- You develop in Python, Go, C/C++ or Java

Meriting

- You are communicative and have worked with Scrum methodology
- You are familiar with data science tools such as R
- Experience with designing and building cloud architectures using Amazon Cloud Services
