UCG 050303 Devops Engineer

Your task:
- devops engineer, familiar with CI/CD for software development
- working with improving Development and Operations process and applications in order to reduce lead-time. Continuous Integration and Continues Deployment will be integral parts to improve.
- implement new applications to improve quality and decrease lead-time.
- administrate and configure new applications in the development environment.

Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.

Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.

Required experience for this role:
- experience of working with software development and CI/CD operations
- The candidate should also have experience in the following:
• Gerrit, Git,
• Jenkins, Hudson
• Jira
• IP-networking/firewalls including administration and configuration
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux/Solaris/Windows systems administration
• Virtualization solutions, virtual networks, e.g. VMWare including underlying HW
• Containers
• Cloud solutions, e.g. Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services
• Storage solutions
Work language: English

Wanted competence
- Swedish
• Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS administration, installation
• Oracle High-availability/reliability/scalability solutions, e.g. RAC, DataGuard, GoldenGate
• Scripting languages, Perl, Python, Bash
• Automation tools, Ansible

The Consultant roll
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
