SVT Play has changed the way of watching TV in Sweden over the past years by building and maintaining one of the most beloved Play apps for mobiles, computers, and tablets in the Nordics. The services we develop is rapidly changing since we believe in evolution rather than revolution. However, there’s a revolution going on right now when we are creating completely new native apps for iOS and Android.
We are looking for an iOS developer to join our SVT Play team at SVTi. In close collaboration with experienced developers, UI/UX designers, and product owner - you will get a key role to build a cutting-edge iOS application that brings joy to millions of users with high quality of video streaming. Our vision is to create an attractive service with our users top of mind, using Swift, lean UX approach, usability testing, A/B testing and Design Studio. In this position, you will get to test and develop everything from idea to production. We see this as a unique possibility where we think personality and the ability to work together as a team is critical. We are looking for a person that is prolific in:
- iOS development with Swift
- Design patterns and best practices for iOS
At least 4 year’s work experience, preferably also in the digital media industry.
It’s a plus if you have experience of:
- UIKit
- Auto-layout
- Design Patterns
- GCD
- TDD
- UX/UI
- DevOps/ architecture
- REST/ RESTful API
- Continuous integration
