WHAT DO YOU DO?
Our department, Firmware platform -> team streaming, is responsible for the streaming of content such as video, audio etc. This is the heart of Axis products, so we interface most parts of the company. Streaming is technically one of the most advanced software areas at Axis so you will never be out of challenges! The position is hands-on in a very skilled and technically strong team that values individual growth, teamwork and great spirit.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe you have a genuine interest in technology and programming. You have a Master of Science degree in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering or similar and experience in software development. You are results oriented, curious and you beat your obstacles.
In addition to the above, experience from the following areas is seen as a merit:
GStreamer, Linux, C, embedded systems programming, Python, GIT, GDB debugging, Wireshark, Valgrind, Jenkins, multithreading, RTSP, network programming, team-work, upstream community work, good spoken communication skills in Swedish (or eager to learn Swedish fast).
