System Developer Services

We are now looking for a System Developer for Services to take on technical responsibility for development, maintenance and support of our IT systems, including all related interfaces. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to be at the forefront of new technology and a part of a service that is groundbreaking in its field. The location for this position is preferably our offices in Fagersta, Sweden or the Alcester, UK, while location at any of our other sites globally is another option. Another advantage of this position is the possibility of working remotely a few days every week.

Key performance areas
As System Developer, you are an important part of our team; delivering both project activities and software maintenance within your assigned areas of responsibility. You design, develop, test, debug and implement new software and deliver related activities considering usability, scalability, security and accessibility in the process. Your daily work includes:
Suggesting solutions and functionality to business stakeholders and IT Demand Manager
Creating and maintaining system documentation
Maintenance and release plans
Ensuring that we meet existing Service Level Agreements
Ensuring that we follow established policies, standards and procedures

Together with the IT Demand Manager or System Owner, you provide information and knowledge of how the system can add business value, and you act as third line support when handling incidents and requests.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with an MSc in Computer Science, and at least five years’ experience from System Development including agile development, development of web applications, working with process modelling and data modelling. Experience from .Net development and SQL is also required to be successful in this position, while IOS development, Jenkins, GIT and API’s are advantageous. As we operate in an international setting, you need great communication skills in English, while skills in Swedish are beneficial.
