We are looking for a senior database- administrator/developer for our infrastructure-team.

In the role of DBA/DBD, you become part of LensWayGroup's great IT team. You will be able to shape the way we develop our IT-environment, including future web platforms and data structures.
Your work includes:
• Developing and maintaining the architecture for LensWay Group’s data and databases.
• Own the data and data structures related to MySQL databases.
• Performance tuning, query optimization/tuning.
• Administration and maintenance of data and DB’s related to our web platform and software applications.
• Troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
• Backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication.
• Be a central part of design and architecture decisions related to technology change together with other DBA’s, System administrators and Lead developers.
• Working in close cooperation with other DBA’s and Java developers in agile processes.

Your background/qualifications
? Minimum 6 years’ experience of developing and designing database solutions (preferably MySQL and/or Oracle databases).
? Experienced in managing DB’s in Linux environments.
? Experienced in SQL; writing SQL queries, SQL-tuning, query monitoring etc.
? Fluent in oral and written English.
