Development Manager

The position

The manager of commerce team will lead, motivate and empower team to develop and support a stable, secure and streamlined purchase and customer management experience. You will grow and maintain commerce areas together with distributed team in Ukraine and Stockholm.
The challenge ahead

Lead and define the technical roadmap of the commerce part of the Viaplay platform with the architects and product owners.
Help distributed development team make good technology choices both in architecture and implementation and prioritise security, quality and user experience.
Lead and motivate individual team members and empower them to perform innovative high quality contributions

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone to act as a technical proxy between our offshore team in Ukraine and the on site teams in Stockholm. This requires an experience in working with distributed teams.

-Minimum 5 years experienced in working with eCommerce
-Experience in PHP and YII framework
- Strong leadership abilities and experience with working in distributed teams
- Good language skills when it comes to both English and Russian is a must

Bonus qualifications

- Experience in working with subscription services
- You are Certified Scrum Master
