DevOps Engineer

We are now looking for aDevOps Engineer to join our Digital Product Team in E-commerce. You will be part of a happy and extremely driven multicultural company of approx. 100 people from 25 countries, based at Happy Socks’ HQ, in Stockholm, Sweden.

You’ll be the go-to person for support digital architecture on the E-commerce side, making sure our team can do their job.As you’ll be our specialist in the field we want you to bring your ideas to the table and define, decide and drive. As we grow, you will have an opportunity to take on more responsibilities.

Main responsibilities & tasks

- Support the set-up of team environments, source structures etc. during project start up

- Support the team in identifying issues with code / deliverables

- Champion and drive through alerting and monitoring requirements for the platform

- Assist with and maintaining the systems behind our digital product.

- Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution

- Domain Management

- Reviewing infrastructure costs

- Available for on-call support during Black Friday

- Support our internal IT infrastructure

Experience & skills required

- Deploying and operating services on Linux

- Monitoring and logging tools preferably New Relic

- Identifying and debugging production issues

- Hosting management (Saas / Iaas Solutions) and capacity planning, AWS

- Secured network architecture (Virtual Private Network / Distributed sites)

- High performance solutions (Content Delivery Networks) and scalable Front-end solutions

- Exposure to programming languages such as PHP, Python, HTML and SQL

- Agile software development practices

- Understanding of Git version control

- Understanding of CMS Systems
