As Virtual Enviroment Artist you are familiar with UE4 and know how to work with the tools the engine provides. Improving environments, adapting performance and great visual quality are your main goals.
Work within the Unreal engine to create high-end indoor and outdoor enviroments, high-quality 3D assets, art, scenes, prefabs, animations and visual effect for different platform, styles and client.
Creating assets and enviroments for virtual worlds and provide them for platform from high-end desktops, VR headset, to mobile and standalone headsets.
Be a part of our XR team and support by creating the best possible assets, animations and improving our production pipelines, finding and creating useful tools and help them deal with high-end visual requirements on different platforms.
Be important part in our XR development process by aligning the requirements from our development and design departments with the visual goals of the project.
In-dept profiling for PC, Headsets/iOS/Android(Standalone)
Knowledge in creating optimized and efficient enviroments in a game engine, regarding draw calls, textures, materials, meshes etc.
A great artistic skill set, extensive knowledge of color and lighting and how to achieve the best visual style for a scene on different platforms from high to low-end.
Knowledge of how shaders and materials work and ability to create your own.
The creation of shaders to achieve the best visuals and performance. Basic knowledge about scripts is a plus. The integration of assets, particle effects and materials.
Basic knowledge of 3D modeling and the willingness to learn new software such as Maya, Substance painter/designer etc. Familiarity with Photoshop.
Fluently written and spoken English.
Must be eligible to work in Sweden.
The ideal candidate also has senior level experience in working with high-end environment/shaders on PC and high skills in optimizing these to different platforms.

Berge is based on in Gothenburg but we have our clients all over Sweden (and the world). Projects may sometimes require some travelling or temporary allocation to another city.
