Senior Business Analyst

Business Engagement is the section, that ensures Business and Consumer requirements are met by IT capabilities. IT priorities and the development of IT capabilities will be dynamically aligned with Business priorities. We shall align IT Strategies with and impact Business unit Strategies. Corporate Functions is a group within Business Engagement that is accountable for all IT services towards Corporate Functions. The group acts as Business Owner for all Corporate Platforms to ensure Strategic & Business Plan Alignment and that IT services are in line with agreed levels of demand both for Service Development and Operations.
As a Senior Business Analyst (Senior Requirements Manager) you will together with the group secure governance is in place for Strategic Business Partners' IT relationships and ensures appropriate alignment to Volvo Car Group IT Strategies. You will be responsible for requirements on IT services with our partners and work in close collaboration with the business unit.
Main responsibilities
* Requirements Management and Analysis of proposed Business Collaborations.
* Support verification of proposed IT Service Amendments
* Together with IT Director ensure that proposed solutions are in line with Group IT Strategy
* Establish collaborative network within Group IT Globally and with Key Business Functions to ensure proper understanding of process impact, IT Solutions and Service Impacts of supporting new business partnerships
* Establish appropriate networks with Business Partner representatives
* Contribute to development of Group IT Strategy development in this area
Required qualifications
* University level studies with focus on Product Development and/or IT & Business Process
* Understanding of Partnerships, inter-company collaboration and associated data security considerations
* Broad understanding of automotive business processes
* Experience of modelling information and process flows
* Experience of facilitating information gathering individually and in groups
* Experience of running concept studies in early, unpredictable conditions
* Good business acumen and experience in evaluating business cases and estimating IT project scope & cost
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Experience of product development and manufacturing, preferably within the automotive industry is meritorious
