Senior Cloud Engineer

About the job We at Swedbank are creating a cloud team that will lead our technical transformation using cloud services to support our wanted position that is being the inclusive bank for the many private and corporate customers. You will be dealing with different advanced technologies and vendors in a multi cloud environment for Swedbank group. For the right person the position will offer innovation possibilities, large scale implementations and a very high ambition. You will also work in a collaborative and agile way with good possibilities of growing as a leader.

What you need to succeed We believe you should be open-minded and communicative. Not afraid of sharing knowledge and be willing to take the first step. Experienced working with cloud technologies in an agile way and take lead on establishing best practices. You are technology agnostic and passionate about delivering great solutions in an international environment as our teams are located in both Sweden and the Baltic countries. Experience of working in cross functional and cross border teams is an advantage.

What you may have worked with previously We like to see that you are a natural problem solver but not afraid to ask for help.
You are also comfortable evaluating and suggest solutions and have the ability to act upon the suggestions.
You have experience in automation, monitoring, cloud networking.
Experience of using enterprise cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure as well as in Python/PowerShell are desired.
Have experience with different monitoring/alerting tools both in cloud and on-prem (Zabbix, Sensu, InfluxData, Prometheus, ELK, Graylog)
Broad background covering infrastructure components like Server platforms (Windows, Linux), storage, application structure (2-tier, 3-tier), Identity, Security (Encryption, PKI), load balancing.
You are used to working with development of infrastructure services and are fluent in several scripting languages, integration patterns, security and perhaps even engineering your own API's.
