Role Summary:
The Senior Marketing Digital UX Team Leader willlead a team responsible for the design and deployment of digital content withinthe Life Sciences Digital Hub technology ecosystem, apps and digital marketingcollateral. You will manage a team of skilled UX design and research specialists as well as the contentmanagers responsible for publishing the content.

Essential Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities will include:

Leading a team of skilled UX Design and Research Specialists as well as the Content Managers responsible for publishingthe content within a variety of tools including Sitecore, Hybris and Marketo. This role will assume full manager responsibilities for a team of around 10 individuals, both employees and consultants
As a senior leader you will be responsible for the product life cycle of the digital customeruser experience and engages various business stakeholders commercial goals and helps integrate those objectives into a robust customer experience that satisfies the entire buyer joinery.
Own, define and maintain user experience design standards for the Life Sciences Digital Hub technology ecosystem website and mobile applications including page and application templates for a variety of business needs
As part of the Digital Marketing leadership team, this role will proactively engage stakeholders across the business to advise, plan and deploy new experiences within the digital ecosystem designed to achieve stakeholder’s goals while maintaining an ideal customer experience.
Manage and drive research activities to gather insights to provide input into the UX design process and ensure the team members maintains an active research an education plan to develop the most contemporary skills to create modern and differentiated experiences that find convert and retain customers.
Manage and drive ongoing research into UX design best practices and update UX design tools and practices as appropriate.
Partner with the Ad and Promo team and Content Marketing lead to educate on the Life Sciences Hub Front end capabilities and incorporate any new needs in to future design plans
Partner with Data Science and Metrics Digital marketing team members to develop robust and scalable personalized experiences via programmatic use of marketing automation platforms and the CMS personalization engine
Work with BA’s on the technology team to maintain user stories for front end component design and a roadmap of front end enhancements

Qualifications/Requirements:
Demonstrated experience as a manager leading UX teams or similar capabilities with an understanding of the complexities of this work.
Strong leader of people who can coach and manage a team effectively through challenging situations and has demonstrated experience in driving successful cultural change
Significant experience in Web and/or mobile application design and experience with front-end code (HTML/CSS) preferred
Proven record of accomplishment of successful delivery of projects that had a positive impact to the customers who used it while achieving business objectives
Strong understanding of design and usability principles
Ability to work on several different projects and teams at the same time.
Ability to lead design discussions and ideation sessions with stakeholders who know little about the tenants of Digital UX – steering the request to the best possible user experience while achieving the business objective – even if that looks very different from what was being requested
Maintain a broad understanding of our systems, customers, and business goals as well as a deep understanding of how these fit into the context of your team.

Experience with responsive web and mobile design.
Passion for designing beautiful interfaces that are a joy to use.
Excellent attention to detail.
Experience with Agile development practices.
Good communication skills in both written and spoken English

Desired Characteristics:
Experience with front-end code (HTML/CSS) preferred.
Ability to communicate both in written and spoken Swedish would also be an advantage.
