Digital User Experience Designer

We re looking for a Digital UX/UI designer who has a passion for merging the digital and the physical. Someone who has a good understanding of digital interfaces and interactions and has a passion to design services and products from a holistic perspective. It is core for your wellbeing to gain a deep understanding and empathy for the end customers when working in your projects.

User-centred / design thinking design methodologies are second nature to you. But ultimately you are driven, and have the skills, to design intuitive, simple and beautiful digital experiences that make the world a more beautiful place and create real value for end users.

What you will do during the day

- Designing digital user experiences and products at the intersection of digital, physical, design and technology
- Balancing user behaviours, needs, and wants with technological capabilities and multiple aspects of the brand and business to create a great experiences
- Working across competencies to push the boundaries of tech and design
- Creating and delivering concepts, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, and construct functional prototypes
- Developing digital/physical prototypes that can be tested in an iterative process
- Defining the user flows, motion and behaviours of interactive products and services
- Planning and undertaking user research and insights
- Applying a design language based on key principles across multiple devices

When we meet you digitally or IRL we will be looking for

- 3-5 years professional experience as an interaction/UX designer
- Confidence in working with design thinking methodologies
- The ability to move quickly from insights into tangible solutions, via prototyping
- An understanding of designing with and for current web technologies/platforms and emerging technologies
- Experience in working with a range of digital prototyping tools in order to communicate your ideas and experience testing solutions with end users
- The high regard for simplicity of structure and interaction will shine through in your portfolio
- A passion for quality in the details
