AVTECH is a small company, with a casual work environment, now entering a growth phase with new innovative advanced development projects. We are looking for talented Software Engineers to help us design, build and support our suite of operational capacity and wake vortex management systems.

The ideal candidate for this role is smart, driven and has a strong background and genuine interest in software design as well as a familiarity with the end-to-end process of developing and delivering software. He/she has a keen interest in delivering quality both when it comes to coding and the development process.

A degree in a relevant field (MSc or equivalent) is required plus experience in design and development of software systems in both Linux and Windows environments.

Candidates should enjoy working in a team and be able to solve tasks under their own direction and initiative.

Good communication skills in english are required and skills in swedish will be highly valued.

Basic Requirements

MSc degree or equivalent
Linux environment (Ubuntu/RedHat) set up and configuration, scripting in bash etc.
Distributed computing, Queue systems (PGQ,Experience with Python, C/C++ coding languages MQ) and Web Services
Ability to work in a team and to solve tasks under your own direction and initiative
English speaking and writing skills
Interest in the aviation industry

Worked with MongoDB database or PostgreSQL
Used to a Git version control system workflow
Swedish speaking and writing skills
