Internal Operations Engineer

We are looking for motivated people with a passion for solving IT problems and an interest in technical excellence to join our Medical IT product development team. You will work in an agile team with focus on the internal operations within the department which includes operating build, test, delivery and training environments.

Your team's focus is to provide the environments required to support an efficient and swift production organization. Your function will be central within the department working in close collaboration with the development teams.

In this position, you will:

Manage and develop our internal environments for building, testing, delivering and training.
Help drive optimization, testing and tooling around product development
Work continuously with automation and monitoring of everything from low-level infrastructure to high-level applications
Be part of a team working in close cooperation with the rest of the development department
Evolve our way of working – we can always make things better, and there is always new technology to benefit from!
Work with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)

You are a people's person that like working together in solving problems, but is also very self-going with a drive to deliver value every day of the week. You must have a sense of humor (life is too short not to have fun). For this position, the following requirements apply:

At least a three years of university education in engineering science or IT with good grades
Fluency in English and Swedish
Passion for new technology and software development practises
Have knowledge and experience with Windows Server and/or Linux/Unix operating systems
Willingness to always improve and eager to learn
Great teamwork skills
The capability to think outside the box

Assets

In addition, we consider it an asset if you also:

Have knowledge and experience within healthcare IT, including DICOM and HL7 standards
Have knowledge and experience within general IT including storage, networking and AD/LDAP solutions
Have knowledge and experience within virtualization using VMWare and/or Hyper-V solutions
Have knowledge and experience with OpenStack
Speak more languages than those required above.
Have interests besides school/work, such as sports, sports leader, music, horseback riding, singing or flying (if you happen to have pilot’s license, you can fly to our customers in our own Sectra airplane) or anything else that makes you stand out from the crowd.
