Test Automation Developer

CoolStuff is currently looking for a test automation engineer with strong developer skills and a specific desire to improve the quality of our products through test automation. You will be part of an agile team where you will get the chance to work with cutting edge technologies using state of the art techniques and tools. The perfect candidate will succeed in delivering clean, reusable test code of high quality as well as being a passionate and self-motivated learner.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and develop tests
- Be the driver for quality assurance through test automation
- Define and maintain testing strategy
- Deliver reports on test results and quality trends
- Work closely with developers and product owners
- Build efficient and reusable testing components for future use
- Identify and communicate testing best practices
- Motivate developers to write tests

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Analytical, problem solving and creative thinking
- Web UI test frameworks
- Unit testing
- Programming
- Javascript/Typescript
- GIT
- Agile development methods

Preferably, our test automation suites will be built using a programming language that our developers are skilled in as well. For that reason Javascript is a requirement for this role.
