Arcam works with the latest in Additive Manufacturing (also known as 3D printing) and we are the forefront in our field.
We are now looking for a software developer to join our Process and Material team in Arcam Research. The process and material research team consists of 8 skilled researchers and work with material development, mathematical models and software development of our future products at Arcam.

As a software engineer in Arcam Research you will work with implementing mathematical models, using mostly C# or C++. Now we are on the verge of implementing new and highly efficient models on the latest parallel computing technologies. Thus, if you have an interest for new programming technologies and wants to form the best and fastest calculation for our new products – this is a position for you!

Your competencies will strengthen our software development on a continuous basis, and there are vast opportunities for personal growth and responsibility. This position includes working with our international GE partners in Belgium, Germany and in the United States. Thus, travels and weakly secondments will be expected in this position.

We believe that you are an ambitious, goal-oriented person who understands what is needed to complete and finalize your tasks. You enjoy working in a creative and integrated environment where you’ll be an important influencer.

We are looking for you with the following qualifications:

• University degree in engineering, physics, mathematics or computer science
• Experience of development in C# or C++
• Genuinely interest in mathematical modelling
• English both written and orally

• Experience from working with GPU programming in CUDA, OpenCL or other parallel computing platforms
