Talangjägarna is now looking for a senior backend developer to Tripwell. Tripwell is an international marketplace for vacation homes. Tripwell is a start-up run by a dedicated yet relaxed team focused on one thing – to create a great marketplace for vacation rentals and to help people creating great traveling memories. Tripwell are located at the central of Stockholm. We are now looking for you that are a team-player and a person who has a lots of ideas how to improve things.

Responsibility

Your main area of responsibility as a senior backend engineer will be to take Tripwell to the next level through partner-integrations, scalability and payment solutions. Tripwell are developing a new marketplace for vacation rentals and Tripwell simply need your input to get it right. Your key responsibilities is architecting and coding new product features, working proactively with scalability, performance and availability of the systems that make it all happen and implement new features through all parts of the application, from search engine to NoSQL-database and python code. You will also be mentoring the junior developers.

Your profile

We are looking for a person with few years of professional experience of backend development. You like to learn new technologies and solving new problems is challenging and fun, rather than intimidating. You are motivated team-player that takes ownership of problems and has ideas on how to make things better.

- You have a wide knowledge in the language Python
- You have experience of developing in a Linux/Unix environment
- Previous work on scaling large web applications
- You work on one or more personal projects that show off your skills as a developer
- Fluent in English
