Principal Software Engineer

You are
You are an individual with an extensive technical background, primarily Java, along with a demonstrated history of successfully writing robust, mission-critical code for transaction-intensive, low latency systems. You´re skilled in understanding design and design patterns, including previous experiences in leading development. You are well acquainted with taking an interactive role, discussing, and advising technical specialists, developers as well as the product management team. Previous experience within the field of finance, banking or listed companies will be an advantage. Curiosity, enthusiasm, high energy, and the ability to find solutions where others see problems align with your personal characteristics and you enjoy working in a fast-paced organization.

You will
As the Principal Software Engineer you will develop and deliver high-quality functionality with a customer centric approach. The code environment holds both Java and C++, accentuating java. Your focal points are development/architecture and acting as the technical expert, both internally and externally, and in this being able to convert complex requirements into viable solutions. The emphasis for the group is to develop large, distributed systems with high availability and you will be teamed with incredibly skilled developers. You, together with your colleagues, will have the opportunity to be an influencer, based on a mandate and an ownership, pertaining to the product development and innovation- from inception to completion- thus meeting the needs for the markets of tomorrow. It will be in the midst of the current transition of innovating new products and identifying new markets.
