HCL's Nordic journey began in 1999 with a regional headquarters in Stockholm. Today we have 6 local offices and 3 Delivery Centers with over 2500 consultants doing transformational work for over 30 Nordic customers.

For the Malmö office we are now looking for different roles where developer is one.

You will belong to a team of highly competent colleagues who work with the development of Boomerang, a web-based CRM product focusing on creating a 360-customer view. The product uses a NoSQL database MongoDB, and developments is done by Ruby on Rails and AngularJS.

You will be involved in the entire development chain with analysis of requirements, development, design, testing, documentation and product management. The development process is Agil where we have picked the best pieces of Scrum and Kanban. The developer role provides the opportunity to exercise full stack development, but it is also possible to choose to focus in frontend or backend development.

Responsibilities:
- Work with product development
- Work with integrations
- Work on complex / escalated incidents, problems and changes
- Work with customer support

Skills :
Education and / or Experience Recommended:
Bachelor degree in IT

Professional/Technical Competencies:
Mandatory:
- 2-4 years of experience in development
- Experience in frontend and/or backend programming
- Experience in requirement, system design, testing and documentation
- Experience in working with open source
- Experience of Agile product development
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with the demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with peers and communicate at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to communicate (both written & oral) clearly with various internal stakeholders and customer

Highly Desirable:
- Should have experience in Open source
- Should have experience on working in a global environment
- Should have experience of providing support to customers in live environment
- The incumbent should have good understanding and hands on experience of at least one of the areas below:
* Ruby or Python
* Ruby on Rails
* Angular Js or Bootstrap
* Javascript
* noSQL
