You should have
Either a PhD degree, or a MSc degree with a few years of relevant work experience, in at least one of the areas of computer vision, natural language processing, machine learning or large scale search / data extraction
Strong C++ and/or Python programming skills, and hands-on experience with tools in your area(s) of competency
A proven track record of translating theory to practice and can pick up a relevant research paper and implement the techniques and algorithms described there
Experience defining and driving projects from idea to conclusionYou love learning new things, and sharing your findings with your colleagues
You are comfortable moving between pure research and applying your knowledge to real-world problems
