The Software and Electronics Development teams at Permobil have developedour Connected Wheelchair, Fleet Management Portal, Virtual Seating Coach Portal and our mobile applications such as MyPermobil. We have designed, developed, verified, validated, and deployedthe services to our customers. We believe in making a difference to our users and having them involved in the process of doing so. Duties:

You will design and develop our back-end components and applications. You will also participate in our architecture- and system design throughout our products entire life cycle.

You will help develop tools and techniques to reduce development time, automate activities and increase quality for our solutions. You will also develop prototypes and help demonstrate them.

We expect you to follow and help improve our internal processes, methods and guidelines for software development.

Qualifications:

We believe that you have a university degree or similar experience in the field of software development of back-end applications. Experience from the industry gives you an advantage but your drive, motivation and how well you fit our team are equally important.

It is crucial that you can design, develop and verify functionality of our back-end applications and their interfaces. You can work both in teams and individually, you speak fluent and have good writing skills in English and Swedish.

The technical environment you will be working in consists of Node.js, Express, Mongoose, Passport and JavaScript. Most of the network communication takes place on top of UDP/TCP or HTTP, MQTT. You will focus on back-end development and the target platform is Linux on an Azure platform. We use GitLab, JIRA and Jenkins to help us in our development.

We are a small team and it is vital that you see your contribution to the entire process and take part in all aspects of software development from requirements capture to verification of web applications. You are self-motivated, goal oriented and have good collaboration skills.
