Senior Back End Developer

Star Stable is growing rapidly, and with increasing complexity in our development infrastructure, we’re now in need of a SeniorBack EndDeveloper to strengthen our team. The exciting part of this position is that ithas a lot of variety, e.g. front-end, back-end, database, DevOps tasks.Additionally, you own the project you work on, withboth the responsibility and the freedom in how to solve it. We work frequently in pairs; but not always. That part is largely up to you! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Developer to continue their career with within the gaming industry.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE AS A BACK END DEVELOPER AT STAR STABLE?- Working on features, tech exploration, removing tech debt or maintaining live applications (all devs rotate between these tasks)
- Working (often in pair with someone) with the whole life cycle of a task, e.g. understanding the problem, evaluate possible solutions, design according to target architecture, implement by coding, deployment the solution
- Lots of laughs together with a great team of diverse people. We often have lunch together and a fair amount of fika, too!

Who are you? We hope that you have at least a couple years ofexperience in the following areas:- Programming(eg Python, Ruby, JavaScript)
- Web development
- Python / JavaScript
- Linux / Unix environments
- SQL
- GIT or other DVCS
- CSS3/HTML5
- Backend framework (e.g CherryPy, Django, Flask or Tornado)
