Academic Work is on behalf of our client Leica Geosystems Technology AB looking for a driven and committed cloud programmer who wants to help digitize the heavy construction industry and contribute to a more sustainable world.

You will be a part of Leica Geosystems Technology AB’s 12 month developing program where you, together with another newly graduated, get the chance to kick-start your career. In the program, you will be given a mentor as well as continuous training in e.g. project management, SCRUM, test driven development or other more domain-specific training with in machine control, geodesy and metrology. After 6- and 12 months, you will also be offered a training from Cornerstone. Further, in a team working with agile methods, you will be surrounded by competent colleagues.

This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Leica Geosystems Technology AB. The intention from Leica Geosystems Technology AB is that they after the program will offer you a permanent employment, given that all parts are satisfied with the cooperation.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a cloud programmer, you will be a part of a team that works with web-based solutions. These solutions are synchronized with Leica Geosystems Technology's products for example by sending building models to excavators in a road construction.

As a web developer, you will work with Lecia ConX – A cloud-based platform for sharing and visualizing data.

For example, you will work with:

* web-based programming
* “back end”-development in Python/ Django
* “front end”-development in JavaScript/ AngularJS
* RESTFul API-development
* MySql, Cassandra, KairosDB, JasperReports Server
* Amazon Web Services
* visualization and statistics

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
We are looking for you who has a postgraduate degree in e.g. Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, a Bachelor in System Development or a degree similar to this. You have a great interest for web-based solutions and want to learn more about cloud programming. Furthermore, you have very good skills in English, both written- and spoken language.

It will be considered an additional qualification if you:
* have basic knowledge in Python, Javascript, Django or AngularJS
* have previous experience of cloud programming
* Linux
* Databases (MySQL)

As a person, you are committed, curious and have a great desire to learn more. You love to solve problems and you are driven by solving them with the best, possible solution. You are communicative and not afraid to ask questions if anything is unclear. In addition to this, you communicate your thoughts and ideas and like to discuss them with others.
