Senior Embedded Software Architect to Sigma Connectivity (Lund)

Introduction
The Software design department within Sigma Connectivity is expanding and now we are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Architect in Lund. In this role you will work closely with customers and colleagues through all phases of the projects. You will be responsible to present solutions in relation to software system development. In addition, you will review and evaluate proposals and demands from customers and the internal hardware development regarding technical possibilities, costs and resource consumption.
About the position
Sigma Connectivity has most of the projects in-house, which means your colleagues are around you even when you change assignment, you have access to cutting edge technology through our close cooperation with platform vendors and 3rd party companies. With Sigma Connectivity you will have the possibility to work for some of the most demanding connectivity customers available, with highly motivated and skilled developers and testers in the team.
Technical environment
We work with different kinds of technologies in where you will have the capacity to use your creativity to solve challenges using the most efficient solutions in which you will grow your experience and work with focus on the following technologies: Embedded C/C++, Real-time operating systems, Android frameworks, connectivity standards such as Bluetooth, ZigBee, NFC and Wi-Fi, as well as debuggers like J-Link, ST-Link, IAR Embedded Workbench as well as measuring instruments like oscilloscope and logic analysers.
Who are you?
You are a humble senior architect, have the wholistic view, know what works and not, understand products from the hardware connections up to the User Interface, as well as the different building blocks in between to make up an embedded system. Beyond a deep technical understanding for embedded systems you will also need to be used to explaning and communicating with customers from a technical perspective. For this role we belive you appreciate working closely with colluges and different contact surfaces.
