Freespee was founded in 2009 by software engineers Carl Holmquist and Tobias Lindgren in Uppsala, Sweden where its development teams are based. Reporting to the Head of Tech Operations we are recruiting a DevOps Engineer. You will be collaborating with the rest of the Tech Operations team and working closely with the developers to be the go-to person for improving collaboration and streamlining workflow between the teams.

You will help our developers to create an efficient environment to handle development and testing while ensuring that the transition from test to production goes smoothly, together with the rest of the Tech Operations team and our Agile Coach.

You will be responsible for:
Updating and managing the development platforms for the different teams.
Ensuring consistent application versions across the environments.
Testing and planning for upgrades of software stack.
Joining a pool of engineers taking turns to be on call outside normal working hours to handle emergency issues.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience working with a DevOps methodology.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure.
Background knowledge in automation with for example Saltstack, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
Familiarity with Docker or other container solutions.
Familiarity with programming and scripting in PHP, JavaScript and Linux shell.
Additional qualifications

Certifications in AWS, Saltstack, or Linux.
