The group System Integration Automation Test develop and perform test on complete vehicle level in Hardware in the Loop (HIL) test rig with extensive Simulink models and a test-framework that has been developed in-house. There is a mix of automated tests and manual test, depending on the need.

Our integration lab provides scope for driving all of our marketed vehicle types, performing the most complex and dangerous tests that cannot be conducted in vehicles, and also ensuring that previously launched functions still works when new ones are released. We mainly develop the software for these tests in Python.

Now facing the same challenges as the rest of the automotive industry with autonomous vehicles and electrified vehicles there is a need for another tester the group.

As we are affected by all new functions introduced for our vehicles, you can develop a broad network of contacts within Scania.

Your duties
You will be developing new automated tests and non-functional tests, running the lab, analysing results and follow up on deviations. A genuine interest in vehicles is an advantage, as an understanding of our functions is a prerequisite for being able to do a good job. In order to further understand the functions to be tested, there will be an element of working with/driving our test vehicles.

Your profile
You have a BSc or MSc in Engineering or equivalent experience of systems development. Experience of working on automated test systems, preferably from dSPACE, and agile methods are definite advantages. You are passionate about testing and not be inclined to give up until you have found the root cause of any deviation. You also have a genuine interest in vehicles. We value people who get things done and drive things forward. A minimum requirement is a class B driving license, but C/CE D/DE would be an advantage. Good written and spoken Swedish and English is essential.
